Doubletake began with Julie Burke in 1984, later joined by her first daughter, Brandy. Together Julie and Brandy strive to breed for an all around Samoyed with good health, temperament, structure, and type along with the breed's natural herding instinct.

Along with conformation we do agility, herding, tracking, and dryland mushing.

Icy has earned her CGC! Venus earns her first agility title qualifying 3 out of 3 jumpers runs with two 2nds and a 3rd! She just needs one more leg for her NA title.

Versatile Samoyeds

We mostly compete in conformation but our dogs are also training and/or competing in weight pull, agility, tracking, obedience, rally, herding, and dryland mushing (sledding on wheels without snow). Each dog has their strong areas but they are all able to do a wide variety of things.
