Clover, Bacchus, and Venus herding.
Clover was very distracted by the fact she had 3 sheep with her and about 5 more outside the fence that she could see.
Rig Runs
We do short little runs up and down the road every so often. They still have a lot more training to do but we're getting there. I'm trying to sort out what positions
work and don't work with them. Clover doesn't want to run beside anyone. Bacchus nips at Venus if they are beside each other, the wonderful love of siblings.
Venus escaping
We've used the same type of crates for the last 20 years. It wasn't until Venus and Bacchus that we've ever had a dog open the crate.
You will see after her first try she checks the front of the crate and locates a clip hanging there. We use that on the latch when we want her to stay in, she knows if it's hanging on the door she can get out.
Clover running agility
This was one of the best days at a dog show I've ever had. First thing in the morning Clover ran in JWW and got her very 1st Q and a 2nd place. Next we did breed where her son took WD/BOW, her daughter took WB, and Clover was BOB. We literally bolted out of the ring and
back down to agility. We were the first ones to run because we had group coming up quickly. This is her run between breed and group. She's slow because she was tired but this was her first standard Q and she got 1st place. We left the agility ring, got us both some water, cleaned her feet, and into the group ring.
There she made the cut.
